Come and join us for some orienteering fun and explore the beautiful area of Diggers Beach, Coffs Harbour.
This event is perfect for families, friends and beginners. You can go as a group or by yourself, the choice is yours. We’ll happily explain the basics so you can jump right in and discover how much fun orienteering can be.

NOTE: This is a MapRun event. MapRun is a free smartphone app that uses GPS to record your visit to the controls marked on the map. Please remember to fully charge your phone before the event.

LOCATION: Diggers Beach Playground, Coffs Harbour NSW
DATE: Sunday, 9h August 2026
TIME: Start anytime between 10:30am - 12pm. Finish 1pm

EVENT DETAILS
60-minute Score Event
30 controls on the map
Controls 1–10 = 10 points
Controls 11–20 = 20 points
Controls 21–30 = 30 points
You may visit as many controls as you wish, in ANY ORDER. The aim is to get the biggest score possible within the 60 minute time limit. However, be mindful of your time, as penalty points are deducted for a late return.

COST
Seniors (21+): $12 (members $8)
Juniors: $6 (members $4)
Families: $30 (members $20)
