The first event of the Australian Easter 3-days Carnival features sprinting at an Adelaide-based High School, adjacent sports ground and bushland area.
Three events on one day with something for everyone.

- Prologue – open to junior and senior runners from M/W18 to M/W21.
- Public Sprint – enter individually in one of the 3 courses (C1,C2,C3).
- Family Teams Race – a team of three from the same immediate family covering each of the three courses with cumulative times. Your family team must run in each of the 3 courses.

Course 1 (Hard Sprint): M21E, M20E, M18A, C1
Course 2 (Hard Sprint): W21E, W20E, W18A, C2
Course 3 (Easy Sprint): C3 - with some more Moderate legs, this course is also a cheaper entry fee for Seniors than C1 and 2, and is a cheaper option for Seniors who can run this course to make a Family Team.

The M20E,M21E, W20E and W21E classes are WRE classes and are eligible for IOF ranking points with. The 20E and 21E classes will be combined given they are running the same course.

Please also note that Course 1 has 30 controls so SI Sticks with numbers between 2,000,000 and 4,000,000 will be able to record all the controls on this course, but not if you punch extra controls on your course. SI Sticks with numbers <500,000 can record 6 extra controls but not with the time.

For a team in the Family Teams event to be official, one member of the team must be directly related to each of the other two team members in one of the following categories:
spouse or de facto spouse, parent, child, brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild, in laws (parent, brother, sister), adopted child, nephew, niece.

If you wish to enter the Family Teams Race, please also register the three names in the no cost Australian 3 Days 2024 - Family Teams event.

If you wish to hire an SI Stick, please select the SI Stick Hire service in the Australian 3 Days 2024 event (or contact us if you are only entering the Prologue).

For elites, there is a Split Start Request form listed in the Documents and Links section.

For planning purposes, elite starts are scheduled from 12 noon with all other starts around 2-2:30pm
